FAQs
How long is the Beginner Barber course?
Eight weeks, one three‑hour session per week (24 hours total). Regular attendance is required to progress and to sit the final assessment.
What qualification will I receive?
You will earn a Kings Barber Academy certificate, demonstrating a professional foundation in modern barbering.
How many students are there?
Each intake is limited to four learners to maximise one‑to‑one support.
Do I need any experience?
No. We start from the basics and guide you through to client‑ready standards.
Do I need my own tools?
Yes - You can purchase our Kings Starter Kit if you don’t own tools.
Will I work on real clients?
Yes. From Week 1 you’ll practice on mannequin heads and progress to live models. Models can be provided if you cannot bring your own.
Can I pay in instalments?
We offer ClearPay and Klarna.
Where does the course take place?
All training is held upstairs at Kings Barber Studio, in a dedicated academy space fully equipped for professional training.
Is there an age requirement?
You must be at least 16 years old.
What happens if I miss a class?
We understand life happens. If you miss a week, your educator will help you catch up with guided practice or additional notes; however, consistent attendance is essential to complete the course.
